How much will my driving lesson cost?

Our drivers understand that each student has a unique learning style, that’s why our patient and knowledgeable team tailor lessons to suit you to ensure you get the most out of the time you spend with us. Our individual lessons cost just £25 per hour. We also offer intensive and semi-intensive courses, find out more about these options here.

I have some driving experience, will I still benefit from Karf Driving School?

Absolutely! We tailor our lessons around your needs, so if you just need a couple of refresher lessons to help build your confidence before your test, we can help you.

What services do you offer?

Our range of services really sets us apart from any other driving school in the North West. Our singular lessons, semi-intensive and intensive courses will cover all the bases to ensure you are prepared for each element included in your theory and practical driving test.

Can I select my pick-up and drop-off locations?

Of course, we are here to ensure that learning how to drive moulds around your daily activities. Whether this means collection from home and drop off at work, we’ll always try our best to work around you and your schedule.

Do you offer early morning, evening and weekend sessions?

We know how busy life can be, so we offer early morning, evening and weekend sessions. These time slots tend to be very popular so get in touch today.

How many lessons do I need before I can book my test?

From experience, each student is individual and will require a unique amount of time to prepare depending on confidence, ability and previous driving experience. If you are a complete beginner, we recommend you select our 30 hour block, where you can spread your lessons between 6 and 12 months. Alternatively, if you are a little more confident behind the wheel and are keen to pass quickly, our semi-intensive and intensive driving courses might be suited to you, simply schedule between 10-40 hours of lessons across 4-8 weeks.

What documents do I need to bring with me to my first lesson?

Simply bring along your provisional driving licence, we might also ask you a few safety related questions before we get started.

Will my lesson be in a manual or automatic car?

All of our cars are manual to ensure you have full flexibility of the car you choose to drive upon passing your test.

Will my instructor help me prepare for my theory test?

Yes, our instructors feel that it’s really important to prepare each student for every eventuality during both the theory and practical driving tests. Our instructors will educate students about road signs, safety and hazards along the way!

Will my instructor teach me about the maintenance and safety checks required for a vehicle?

Yes, as part of your practical driving lessons, our instructors will educate you around where certain components are located, how to check if they are safe and also how to maintain them. Such questions are likely to come up during your practical during test.
